Rachel (read 2nd)Jump to the fall of 2013. Rachel saw the value in Jason's games and pushed him to join forces with her in designing more games and launching a company in November 2013. By Spring 2014, the pair had a slew of games up their sleeves and were ready to launch their 1st KickStarter. Unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. But they learned a lot through the process, gained a small fan following and were ready to take another step forward in the world of board games.

Jason (read 1st)In 2011, Jason found an old vending machine on Craigslist. This led him to mold a college design project around the idea of selling non-traditional products in a vending machine. They needed to be small, inexpensive and well-designed. A series of 8 compact hand-crafted games followed under the branding Design Machine Games. When one of those games made it into the final 3 in a national board game competition, Jason saw that the games had some potential.
